On Monday, 9 Sep at 10 AM East Africa Time, join the launch of the revised National Laboratory Quality Framework (NLQF) live via Zoom! Implementing a Laboratory Quality Management System is key to ensuring reliable diagnostic testing and contributing to clinical care and public health. The NLQF guidelines were designed by ASLM, Africa CDC and DATOS in 2022, as a comprehensive guidance, which countries can use to develop national laboratory quality policies and/or strategic plans.

?This year, the NLQF guidelines have been updated to incorporate the lessons learned from implementing the first version of this document and is aligned with the new version of the international standard for quality and competence of medical laboratories: ISO 15189:2022.
